Variation of Terms

My Secret Bookshelf is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.

Assignment

The My Secret Bookshelf is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

Shipping

All orders are shipped within 3 to 5 working days of placing the order via India Post or 3rd party shipping services. Under all cases, we do not hold any liability for any problem arising out of delay made by the shipping provider. All shipping related terms of the shipping service provider also apply to the buyer, which is well understood and accepted by the buyer before making payment of the order. Under normal circumstances, items are delivered within 5 to 14 working days of shipping, in pan India pin codes. In special circumstances for geographically remote areas, we expect a delay of 7 to 10 days extra delay on local circumstances of the area and as per shipping partner/provider.

Under no circumstance, the delay in shipping or the damage during shipping shall be the reason for the refund of the order or return of the item. Both cases shall be handled as per terms. The item lost during transit shall be handled as per the terms of the shipping service provider.

Order once placed shall be shipped with the shipping service provider as per the agreement between us and the shipping associate/partner. Unless the buyer arranges his/her/their shipping at their own expense with complete cooperation and communication with us 3 days prior to the day of the visit, we are not liable for any loss incurring to the buyer arising due to disagreement between us and the service arranged by the buyer.

Amid some act of nature or acts by humankind or in the instance of technological/manpower failure, where the delay incurred is not in our hold, the buyer completely understands that the delay incurred is known to them and they accept it, even if it occurred after the order was placed or shipped. We hold no accountability of delay incurring to this reason.

Returns

Returns can only be made for replacements. Intimidation for replacement should be made within 2 days of receiving the book including day of delivery.

Cancellation and Refunds

Orders once placed, cannot be cancelled. No refunds shall be made for the same. In case of duplicate transaction of same order, i.e money debited twice kind of order, the money shall be refunded as per bank timings automatically. If delayed, prompt manual action shall be taken suitable for faster refund.

Miscellaneous Terms

Replacement can only be made for damaged goods. The photographic evidence of the damaged item should be included in the return intimidation communication.

Turnaround time for all returns or refunds is 5-7 working days.

Any communication of order must compulsorily include – Order ID, Payment mode and Items/Products for proper processing of the email and faster resolution.

You fully understand and accept that inspite of complete precaution and utmost care, the order maybe delayed at transit. There might be delay in providing our services due to reasons beyond our control, also applies for and not limited to reply via emails from our side, bank error, your clashing of policies with 3rd parties resulting cancellation of order. We hold no responsibility due to losses that maybe incurring to you and liability is limited to assisting you via advice and cooperation to resolve the matter that are beyond our control.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between My Secret Bookshelf and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Haryana, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in India for the resolution of any disputes.
